Your
students deserve
the opportunity
to participate
in life
changing events
like MathFest.
For School Year
2009-10, we need
your help to
identify a venue
in your state to
host the
State-wide Math
Competition.
Last year over
4,000 joined us
for MathFest
2008 in Atlanta
and
Columbia; and
thousands are
expected at the
Birmingham
Convention
Center on
October 17,
2009.
Unfortunately,
we have
lost some of our
corporate
funding, thus,
similar
competitions in
other states are
at-risk. We
need your help
to identify a
suitable high
school venue so
that we can
schedule and
conduct
the State-wide
Math Competition
in your state.

Why should
we
conduct
a MathFest in your
state?
*MathFest will get
your students
excited about math.
*Your
teachers will
want to do more
as they prepare
your students.
*Your parents will
salute and support
your strong focus
for "out of the box
thinking" in math.
*Your Teams
attend a day full
of math related
activities and this
new excitement and
competitiveness for
math will return to
your campus.
I guarantee
it!
We have to teach our
children how to
compete in math.
With the current
challenges that we
face in the economy,
we have to work
together to ensure
that our kids get
what they need.
