A Message from the Founder

Dear Friends of MathFest:

Our young people cannot be expected to compete in the nation's highly competitive society without being prepared. The math and science results achieved by American students dictate a need to create an environment conducive to fostering higher level thinking skills. This process can be facilitated through the development of math and science competitions that encourage our youth to achieve higher standards, especially as these competitions become a part of the daily routine integrated across the curriculum by which students learn.

MathFest is the largest elementary math extravaganza on earth. Through this program and its supporting elements, we will change the math achievement of all elementary students throughout the country. Some schools will only send their top math students to MathFest, but your regular students will benefit just as much.  This will be a day of excitement focusing on math. Our program is now being operated through a combination of two companies, the National School Improvement Alliance and Tall Ideas.  Both companies bring their unique components to ensure that our competition is great for all students.
